Sandra MossSandra Moss graduated from Columbia University with a degree in Anthropology and Pre-Medical Studies. She undertook graduate studies in the department of Tropical Medicine at Tulane University where she received a Master’s of Science and Public Health with a specialization in Parasitology.  She further completed a research fellowship at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, Georgia. This fellowship was funded in part by the Association of Teachers of Preventive Medicine. Sandra was also a medical student at the University of Michigan School of Medicine.

Sandra received her training in Ayurveda from the New World Ayurveda in Ann Arbor, Michigan under the tutelage of Dr. Paul Dugliss, an Internist and Ayurvedic Physician. She also trained at the Aloha Institute of Ayurvedic Medicine in Kauai, Hawaii. There she obtained advanced training in Panchakarma, a sub-specialty of Ayurveda, from Dr. Suhas Kshirsagar.  She also studied medicinal herbology and the clinical application of aromatherapy with Dr. Light Miller, a founding member of the National Ayurvedic Medical Association and author of Ayurveda and Aromatherapy.

Sandra is a certified Ayurvedic Practitioner and member of the National Ayurvedic Medical Association. She has private practices in Ann Arbor, Bloomfield Hills, and Petoskey, but also does phone consultations with people nationwide. Sandra has also co-authored “The Myth of Cholesterol: Dispelling the Fear and Creating Real Heart Health” (MCD Century Publications).
